Fossil fuels have dominated the automobile industry, but in recent years, there has been an increase in the number of companies developing electric vehicles. It’s fascinating to see the way in which it is that the Indian Government is pushing for the EV policy in the auto space. If all goes according to plan in 2025, sales of the internal combustion engine (ICE) two-wheelers based on ICE will cease, according to the ban that the government proposed.

An electric bike powered by AI, Revolt RV400 is all ready to debut on the market. Tamil Nadu’s Srivaru Motors is also gearing up to launch its first fully electric motorcycle. The thing that makes this particular venture unique is the fact that a former Tesla engineer, Mohanraj Ramasamy, is heading Srivaru Motors. Tesla has transformed the entire EV sector, and we are moving in that direction by one time. We can all believe that their product quality is top-notch with certainty.

The announcement of companies getting on the EV bandwagon is a fantastic step in the direction of India leading the path towards cleaner and more efficient fuel. Although it may take some time to get used to electric vehicles, they will be in the future and will revolutionize our way of traveling. With the addition of major players to the race, here are a few electric two-wheelers that will come out in the near future.

Revolt RV400

Revolt Intellicorp’s Revolt RV400 is the latest toy for boys that is making waves and has generated lots of buzz already. No one has heard about this bike. Accredited by ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India), It is the first Indian AI-powered electronic bike, which will be launched on August 19, 2019. The bike will offer a capacity of 156 kilometers after fully charging. The bike is able to be recharged using a regular 15A socket in just four hours. It will be on the same level as a standard 125cc motorbike, and the manufacturer offered a glimpse of the design of the beauty. To top it all off, the bike will come with a 4G eSIM. It also comes with LED DRLs, which make it look more.


Established with IIT graduates Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain, Ather Energy is an electric vehicle manufacturer founded in the year 2013. With a simple approach, Ather is all about creating affordable vehicles. Ather 340 (top speed of 70 km/h) along with Ather 450 (maximum speed of 70 mph) Ather 450 are already running on the market, and a lot of love the latter.

Tork Motorcycles

One of the pioneers in the Indian market, Tork has been present for over a decade. The Tork T6X was announced a few years ago and was among the first bikes to feature features like built-in navigation and cloud connectivity. It also comes with integrated GPS. It will run on a lithium-ion battery that has an output of 72AH. Do you like speed? The bike is able to go up to 100 km/h in just one charge. The cycle can be charged up to 80 percent within one hour. The process is expected to launch, priced at INR 1.25 lakh before the close of 2019.

Pure EV

Pure EV was founded by Dr. Nishanth Dongari, a professor at IIT-Hyderabad, as well as Rohit Vadera, who is a graduate of MIT Bombay, in 2016. PureEV is manufacturing. Pure EV has launched two electric scooters that are cost-effective (EPLUTO, ETRANCE) and bicycles (EGNITE, ETRON) each. Contrary to the majority of firms, they produce high-performance lithium batteries that keep them at a higher level than other models. EPLUTO is their most expensive model, and it includes a portable bicycle. You can now travel with ease and without thinking. What makes it fascinating is the 16 amp outlet, which lets you recharge it from anywhere and at any time.

Bajaj Urbanite

The most reputable brand on the market for scooters across India, Bajaj Auto, has been primarily about bikes. But, they’re making a change and launching scooters, but with a twist. The company is coming out with an electric scooter which can allow us to travel from 80 km to 100 km on ionone charge. The bike or scooter will sport a retro appearance and come equipped with aluminum wheels, headlights, and tail lights. In line with the layout of the digital panels and design, this model will feature the same display. It is expected to be on the market at the end of 2019 or even early 2020.

Emflux One

It is expected to hit the streets before the end of the year; Emflux One will be India’s first electric superbike. What’s this? It can reach speeds of up to 200 km/h with a range of 200 km per charge. The latest technology powers it. It will use a liquid-cooled AC induction motor that will effortlessly provide 67 bhp as well as an impressive 84 Nm in torque. One of the main selling points of it is that it has performance comparable to traditional 600cc bikes.
